A return to Noto

Here is my birthplace, and the wellspring of inspiration for some of my scents. In nature’s gentle embrace, my heart finds release, and a quiet strength returns to my spirit. Even the wounds etched by the earthquake feel strangely peaceful, as if blessed.
Persian silk tree (scientific name: lbizia julibrissin) stood quietly along many roads and places. They are native to countries such as Japan, China, Taiwan, the Himalayas, and India, and their flowering season is in summer. Interestingly, they exhibit a phenomenon known as nyctinasty, or sleep movement. At night, their leaves fold closed as if they are falling asleep, resembling pink birds at rest.
