I have long been influenced by the philosophy of the perfumer I admire, Jean-Claude Ellena, who believes that fragrance should leave space rather than speak too much.

May 2026 be a year in which only the scents you truly need softly remain, allowing both body and mind to settle into a quiet sense of balance.

With the landscape of Naoshima, embraced by the soft light and breeze of the Seto Inland Sea, I share a few words by Ellena that I hold close to my heart.

I would be delighted if we could continue to share rich and meaningful moments, layered with scent, throughout the year.
